In this lecture Professor Zach Murphy will conclude our thee part lecture series on Asthma. During this lecture we will be discussing the treatment and prevention of Asthma. We begin by taking a look at a large chart where we categorize a patients severity of asthma as either intermittent, mild, moderate, or severe. We then give examples of the medicines used to treat each type of severity of asthma. We also give a final example on the course of action and treatment needed for a patient who is having an acute asthmatic exacerbation.
