In this lecture Professor Zach Murphy will be presenting on Cardiac Tumors. We will begin this lecture by talking about the primary and secondary causes of cardiac tumors. The most common is secondary tumors and this results from a metastatic process. We will then be discussing the layers of the heart that are affected and how pericardial and myocardial invasion occurs. We will then be talking about the most common primary tumors including atrial myxoma and rhabdomyoma. We hope you enjoy this lecture!
