n this lecture Professor Kristin Beach, MSN, BSN, RN will be presenting on Heart Sounds and Auscultation. During this lecture we will be starting with an overview on the four heart valves, separated into two atrioventricular and two semilunar valves. We will then be discussing the normal S1 and S2 heart sounds which correlate to the closing of the atrioventricular and semilunar valves. We conclude this lecture with the locations for auscultation and the valvular locations a nurse must be able to recognize. We hope you enjoy this lecture
