In this lecture Professor Zach Murphy will be presenting on Stroke Syndromes: MCA, ACA, ICA, PCA, Vertebrobasilar Strokes, pathophysiology. This lecture will include a detailed and systematic approach to understanding cerebrovascular accidents (CVA), also referred to as strokes. We discuss middle cerebral artery (MCA), anterior cerebral artery (ACA), internal carotid artery (ICA), posterior cerebral artery (PCA) syndromes. Additionally, we discuss strokes that can also affect the brainstem including vertebrobasilar artery syndromes.
