In this lecture Professor Zach Murphy will be presenting on ischemic heart disease also known as coronary artery disease. We start this lecture with the causes and pathophysiology of ischemic heart disease including: stable angina, unstable angina, NSTEMI, and STEMI. We will then be discussing the clinical features and complications associated with ischemic heart disease. We will then transition into the diagnosis of ischemic heart disease and will be reviewing 12 lead ECG's where you will identify anterior, lateral, inferior, and posterior STEMI.
